Step #1: Download each of the files in your GT Boot Camp Quick Start Digital Toolkit. You won't need most of these things until later in the training program; some of them you won't need until after you have a job. If you ever lose your copies, you can always come back here and download them again. Please do not share these items with other people. They are strictly for you since you paid for this program.
Step #2: Download Your GT Companies List and Links PDF.
Step #3: Schedule your first coaching call with Ginger. Please don't skip this step or save it until later in the course. You need the information you'll get in this first call at the beginning of your training.
Step #4: Join our private Facebook group. If you're comfortable introducing yourself to the other members, that's great. If not, no pressure at all. :-)
Step #5: Unbox your GT Boot Camp Starter Kit and learn technical skills.
Step #6: Take your skills assessment tests. As you take your tests, your results
will be sent to me. I'll review them and then let you know what to do
Step #7: After you've mastered all the basic skills you need to be a successful transcriptionist, you'll move on to learning more advanced skills.
Step #8: Next you'll start working on practice files. I'll send you one practice file at a time. When you complete your transcript, you'll send it to me, and then I'll proofread it and give you detailed feedback so you know exactly what skills to focus on while you work on the next transcript.
Steps #9: After you've gotten comfortable transcribing files, you'll learn about the business side of transcription. You'll need to decide whether to apply for jobs working for someone
else or to start looking for your own clients. I'm more than happy to
help you work through this decision process. Feel free to contact me
through email, or you're welcome to ask for general advice in the
Step #10: If you'd like to start your own transcription business rather than work for other companies, this has virtually all the information you need to get started.
You have all the skills, tools, and resources you need to tackle the transcription world on your own now. But there are still going to be times you'll need help/support. Whenever you feel frustrated or confused or need help figuring anything out, you can send me an email or post in the Facebook group.
You will only get out of this training program the time and effort you put into it.
I believe if you invest 1-2 hours a day working through this program, you will have all the skills you need to start earning money from home as a general transcriptionist within about six weeks. The keyword in that last sentence is if. You will succeed...
If you show up and do the work, I will help you every step of the way. I am 100 percent committed to your success. But you have to take the initiative; I will not nag you. I will not contact you on a daily/weekly/monthly basis and try to get you to stay focused or to complete the steps in the training. That's your job. My job is to show you the path and how to walk it, but I can only help you if you're willing to take the steps down that path.
Get started. Stay focused. Ask for help when you need it. Apply what you've learned, and you will succeed. :-)
